Happy Friday! I hope y’all had a lovely week. Nate and I have a little bit of a “weekend” today since we’re in Knoxville for his sister’s graduation from high school (yay Karen!). We had off yesterday too, which was so nice to just be together and catch up. The day to day grind of working and crazy life has been tough lately, so I’m thankful for the little bit of peace these last days have brought. On to my favorites from this week!
My new shirt from the Life Lived Beautifully shop is my favorite. If y’all haven’t heard of it you need to check it out! A beautiful shop filled with items to encourage and equip women to love God and his Word. I love how this shirt was inspired by John 1:16 “And from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.” It’s a tangible reminder to me of God’s amazing grace in saving me through Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross. I didn’t deserve salvation; I deserved hell. Yet He poured out His grace and saved me.
It also reminds me of the continual grace God sustains me with each day. Through the good and the bad, the hard and the easy, His grace is there, never ceasing. I’m so thankful for His grace!
Greenhouses. We visited a greenhouse on whim yesterday and now I am in love with greenhouses! There’s just something so magical about them, you know? The plants are all so lovely and green, and the air seems to hold a certain kind of charm (haha probably all the oxygen 😉). Nate and I loved walking around together, pointing out the plants we’d love to have in our yard one day. I cannot wait to have a home with him and garden together! There shall be many happy trips to the greenhouse for sure!
The Trim Healthy Mama cookbook. My sweet sister sent me this book this week! It was so wonderful to receive happy mail. More wonderful still that Steph kindly supports me on my journey to eating healthier with THM. I can’t wait to try out all the recipes in the book! I already made the strawberry cheesecake smoothie and Nate was like, “wait, this is healthy?! It’s so good!”
This sermon on Psalm 103 by our pastor. God knew I needed to hear this sermon on Mother’s day last week! It was such a beautiful, helpful reminder of God’s love to me, and how amazing His forgiveness is. Go listen to the sermon, I can’t do it justice with my words (you may have to search for Psalm 103 on there, since I couldn’t get a direct link). Nate and I are memorizing Psalm 103 too, so I loved the sermon even more. I’m sure I’ll dedicate a whole post to it at some point, because it’s quickly becoming my favorite psalm!
What are your favorites from the week? Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
