Meet Liz

Hello! Thank you for stopping by. My name is Liz Mee and this is a little window into my life. I am a sinner saved by grace, wife to Nate, mama to Glory, serious coffee drinker, teacher, foodie, DIY-er, and homemaker. I believe life is an adventure, and even the small, mundane moments all add up to make one grand story. I don’t want to take any of those moments, those little adventures, for granted. I want to remember them all and look back on the grand tale woven by the Master Author.

My husband is a youth pastor and we are loving our new life in Western Kentucky.

Sharing our life through blogging has become a fun, much-needed creative outlet for me. Follow along for a peek into our everyday adventures, which will include a lot of eating, drinking, loving, learning, growing, and laughing.

“An adventure is only an inconvenience rightly considered. An inconvenience is only an adventure wrongly considered.”
G.K. Chesterton

“I am looking for someone to share in an adventure that I am arranging, and it’s very difficult to find anyone.’
I should think so — in these parts! We are plain quiet folk and have no use for adventures. Nasty disturbing uncomfortable things! Make you late for dinner!”
J.R.R. Tolkien, The Hobbit

“Let us step into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.”
J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

Some of my favorite things:

My handsome husband and sweet baby girl. Fresh, strong coffee first thing in the morning. Reading good books. Long boarding on my Sector 9. My moody but adorable cat, Winston. Making delicious (and mostly healthy) food in the kitchen. Biblical Theology (the whole story of the Bible is amazing!) Drinking all the coffee–hot or iced, I’ll take it all. Pallets, and furniture made from pallet wood. Teaching English online with VIPKID. Chocolate. The ocean. Succulents (because they’re the only kind of plant I can keep alive). Sushi, especially California rolls. Ampersands. Pretty hand lettering. Lots of other things I can’t think of right now. 😀
